Trump pointed this drug to Corona: Hydroxychloroquine
US President Donald Trump has announced that drug and vaccine efforts against the Coronavirus are ongoing. President Trump reported that the drug, Hydroxychloroquine, approved by the FDA, would be available to patients.
US President Trump on drug and vaccine development efforts against the Coronavirus, conducted by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA), made statements.
Trump stated that the FDA is working non-stop for vaccines and drugs. FDA officials stated that a safe and effective treatment method will be found as soon as possible.
NEW DRUG DESCRIPTION
Trump announced that the drug named hydroxychloroquine has been approved by the FDA and the drug will be ready for prescription. “We are looking at the use of drugs approved for other diseases in the short term,” said Trump, who said, “It may or may not be groundbreaking.”
“I hope it’s true, but who knows,” Trump also said of the report that the Chinese announced today, that no new cases of Coronavirus have occurred.
REMDESIVIR USED IN
Another drug used in the USA to combat COVID-19 disease caused by Coronavirus is remdesivir.
Remdesivir was previously developed against the Ebola virus, which killed more than 10,000 people. The drug, which treats diseases caused by the virus, has also started to be used against COVID-19.
